I just had a realization that my high school was very different from others. It can be comparable to other people's feelings and experiences in college. In our high school, we formed very close relationships and those relationships still are very strong after many, many years. People say that you usually meet you closest friends or spouse in college. In our case, it happened in high school. I find this very weird. After thinking about this for some time I’ve realized that our high school was like college. We all partied so young. And we all grew up fast. The whole reason behind this epiphany I just had was that I’ve always noticed that me and my friends always seemed so different from others. We are young but don’t feel the need to party so much as others. We are also much more mature that others our age. And now I finally understood why.
